On August 24, 2023 at about 8:45 pm, Mr. Christopher Arnoldo Moreno Diaz was shot and killed in the area of 7631 Sharon Lakes Rd CMPD Is asking for help from the community. Dashawn Dean Homicide
December 13, 2022

On December 13, 2022, at about 1:21p.m, Mr. Dashawn Dean was shot and killed on 2008 Moore Road in Matthews N.C. Matthews Police Department is asking for help from the community to bring about some answers in this Homicide. Raymond Goodman Homicide
October 03, 2022

CMPD needs your help identifying the suspect(s) involved in a homicide that took place on October 3,2022 at about 11:30pm. This occurred at the Pilot Gas Station at 3807 Statesville Ave. Two victims were shot. One of the victims (Raymond Goodman) died as a result of being shot. On August 13, 2022 at about 1:10 a.m., Mr. Armani Spencer was shot at 7345 W. W.T. Harris Blvd. Mr. Spencer died as a result of his injuries. Jamir Rucks Homicide
August 13, 2022

On Saturday, August 13th, 2022, Officers responded to the 8000 block of S. Tryon St. in reference to a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, Officers located a victim suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. The victim was transported to Atrium Main and pronounced deceased. Please  ?? Tashon Mock Homicide

On Saturday, July 16, 2022 at about 2:45am, Mr. Tashon Mock was struck by gunfire as a result of a drive by shooting that occurred in the 9500 Block of University City Blvd. The location is a Circle K gas station parking lot. On Wednesday, May 18th about 1445 pm, Antonio Quarles was found stabbed in the 200 Block of East Sugar Creek Rd. Mr Quarles died as a result of his injuries. Michael Camp Homicide
July 21, 2021

STATUS: OPEN
On July 21, 2021 at about 11:18 pm, officers responded to the 1400 block of Pressley Road.  Michael Camp was shot and later died as a result of his injuries. Michael Camp was very loved by friends and family so much that they raised a $6000 Cash reward in hopes of finding out who committed this senseless act.

Malik Clark Homicide
October 19, 2019

STATUS: OPEN
On October 19, 2019 around 6:40PM Mr. Malik Clark was shot and killed at the 1300 block of Kelston Place. Malik had just turned 21 years old on September 15th. He was a graduate of Independence High School. He was a fan of the Atlanta Falcons but enjoyed taking care of his dogs and spending time entertaining his family and friends.
